After over 32 years co-hosting mornings at Bonneville Country 105.1 KNCI Sacramento, Tom Mailey will retire from the station following its annual “Country In The Park” event this weekend.
Mailey and Pat Still were first teamed together in 1992 with Lisa Kay on what was then “New Country 105.1” KRAK-FM. When KRAK-FM and then 98.5 KNCI came under common ownership in 1994, the brands were consolidated on 105.1 with the duo staying in mornings. The duo of have been teamed with Cody Robinson since 2017 following a sixteen year run with Julie Ryan. Prior to coming to Sacramento in 1992, Mailey worked at Country 94.1 KMPS Seattle as ‘Commander Tom’ and also pulled double-duty as ‘Tom The News Guy’ on sister “Hot Talk 1140” KHTK. Mailey and Still were inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2024. Mailey also operates the fishing guide “Get The Net“.
Still and Robinson will continue in mornings.
