Summit American Broadcasting has flipped Classic Hits “104.7 K-Jewel” KJUL Moapa Valley NV to a simulcast of co-owned Oldies “Kool 102.3” 1280 KQLL Henderson/102.3 K272EE Las Vegas.

The 104.7 rimshot signal covers the desert area northeast of Las Vegas pairing with the AM/translator that covers much of the actual population center.

The flip brings to an end to the “K-Jewel” branding that lived on 104.3 as an Adult Standards station from 1989 until 2005. A few weeks after that station flipped to Country, the brand was resurrected on the 104.7 rimshot gradually evolving to Soft AC before moving to Classic Hits in 2023.
