Seacoast Radio Network closed on its acquisition of Hot AC “Sunny 88.1” WIID Rodanthe NC and flipped the station to Country “88.1 OBX Country“.
The station is featuring programming from Local Radio Networks and running with listener-support. The 500 watt WIID covers parts of Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks.
Danny Ickes led Seacoast Radio Network agreed to purchase the station in March in exchange for the legal expenses incurred in the sale filing. The group also recently acquired the CP for 89.3 WSTY (formerly WNBA) Milledgeville GA, which will launch as Christian AC “89.3 Star-FM“.
