iHeartMedia’s “Iowa Sports Network” based at 1460 KXNO Des Moines/106.3 KXNO-FM Ankeny IA, debuted a new weekday lineup today.
Heather Burnside and Alec Busse will host “The 1st Quarter” from 6-9am. Burnside had been co-hosting “The Drive” in afternoons from 2-6pm, while Busse was lead writer for Cyclone Alert covering Iowa State University. Fox Sports Radio’s Dan Patrick Show moves back an hour from 8-11am to 9am-12pm with the network dropping the final hour of Colin Cowherd. Ken Miller and Trent Condon remain in the 12-2pm timeslot.
Lucas Strain remains in the 2-5pm timeslot with Brand Manager Sean Roberts for the rebranded “Off The Bench”. Roberts had been filling-in on mornings since the exit of Travis Justice in January to join former co-host Ross Peterson on a new streaming show. The 5-6pm hour will be rebranded “Overtime Iowa” featuring replays from earlier in the day and Fox Sports Radio porgramming continues in nights and weekends.
KXNO’s programming is also heard on “Sports Radio 95.7 KOSY-FM Anamosa/Cedar Rapids, 620 KMNS Sioux City, 800 KXIC Iowa City, and 1230 WFXN Moline IL/Quad Cities.
