Blacksun Private Equity has filed its purchase of seven stations from Monte Spearman’s High Plains Radio Network.
Blacksun will acquire Classic Country 1360 KFFA and Classic Rock 103.1 KFFA-FM Helena AR, Classic Hits 1260 WGVM/97.3 W247BA and Country 100.7 WDMS Greenville MS, Classic Country 95.7 KYBE Frederick OK, Classic Rock 1410 KLVQ/94.5 K233BE Athens and Country 95.9 KCKL-FM Malakoff TX out of High Plains’ bankruptcy for $1,250,000. The remainder of High Plains Radio Network’s station assets are in the process of being sold to Christine Tate’s E Radio Network in a pair of deals.
