Oldies “97.7/106.7 The Oasis” WOXY-FM Mason OH and WNKR Williamstown KY has added an additional simulcast on Delmarva Educational Association’s 94.5 WYDB Englewood/Dayton OH.
WYDB had been Conservative Talk “94.5 The Answer” under a $10,000 per-month LMA with an option to purchase with Salem Media Group. The Oasis brand is programmed by Grant County Broadcasters, which owns 106.7 WNKR and is also heard on Randy Michaels’ RadioActive LLC’s 97.7 WOXY-FM Mason, which rimshots both the Dayton and Cincinnati markets.
Now Michaels’ RadioActive LLC will purchase WYDB for $145,000 to add it to the “Oasis” network with an immediate $500 per-month LMA. Delmarva Educational Association had acquired WYDB and what is now Christian Preaching “The Truth” 106.5 WTKD Greenville/Dayton from iHeartMedia’s Aloha Stations Trust in 2021 as a donation structured where Delmarva paid iHeartMedia $200,000 to reimburse for costs incurred for the maintenance of the trust and divestiture of the stations.
The purchase continues Michaels investment in Oldies in the Ohio Valley. His
WAKYANA LLC is in the process of acquiring “WAKY Radio” 620 WAKY/100.1 W261CO/106.3 W292FS Louisville, 104.9 W285ER Prospect and 103.5 WAKY-FM Radcliff KY for $1.3 million.
