Former Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX Boston morning host David O’Leary is joining WGBH Educational Foundation Classical 99.5 WCRB Lowell/Boston as morning host.
O’Leary has spent the majority of his career in the Boston market starting in high school at 1060 WGTR and later worked at 1170 WJMQ, 107.3 WAAF, 104.1 WBCN, local music video channel “V66” WVJV-TV, and “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM. He spent fourteen years at then AAA 92.9 WBOS hosting afternoons and mornings from 1990 to 2004. Following a stint at WSNE Providence, O’Leary then joined WMJX as Production Director. He then moved to mornings in 2014 until exiting in Audacy’s layoffs in March.
O’Leary shared, “Monday morning I begin a new professional chapter, joining an amazing team at CRB Classicall to host Mornings with David O’Leary at 99.5FM, WCRB, Boston.
