Audacy has added a second Conservative Talk brand to its Greenville/Spartanburg SC cluster with the launch of “Upstate Red” on 950 WORD Spartanburg, 1330 WYRD Greenville and 98.9 WYRD-HD2 Spartanburg.
The station’s lineup will feature the majority of Premiere Networks’ national offerings including “Your Morning Show” with Michael DelGiorno from 6-9am, Glenn Back 9am-12pm, Clay Travis & Buck Sexton 12-3pm, Sean Hannity 3-6pm, and Jesse Kelly from 6-9pm. Westwood One offerings fill the late night schedule with Rich Valdes from 9pm-12am, Will Cain from 12-1am, and Red Eye Radio overnights.

The station joins the company’s “98.9 WORD” WYRD-FM in the format. The two AMs had been simulcasting Sports “The Fan Upstate” 97.1 W246CV Spartanburg/97.7 W249DL Greenville/93.7 WFBC-HD3 Greenville.
