Dustin Hilliary’s Hilliary Broadcasting Co. is acquiring Mollman Media’s eight stations and four translators in Chickasha, Duncan and Lawton OK for $867,500.
Hilliary, who serves as a Senior Advisor to the Governor of Oklahoma, owns wireless and broadband companies in rural Oklahoma in addition to Hilliary Media, which owns multiple newspapers and radio networks including Oklahoma Farm Report, Oklahoma Radio Network and Oklahoma News Network.
The buyer began operating the stations via LMA on December 1. Included in the deal are: Classic Country “Kickin Country 97.1” KKEN Duncan, Hip Hop “97.9 Jamz” KJMZ Cahce, Country “New Country 98.5” KACO Apache, Classic Rock “105.3 The Eagle” KDDQ Comanche, Classic Hits “Kool 105.5” KWCO-FM Chickasha, Classic Country “106.1 The Ranch” K291BR/KWCO-HD2 Chickasha, Alternative “X93.7” 1050 KKRX/93.7 K22DG Lawton, News/Talk 1350 KFTP/106.1 K291CT Duncan, and Adult R&B “Heart & Soul 96.7” 1380 KXCA/96.7 K244FW Lawton.
