Breck Media Group has flipped Adult CHR “Max 92.5” KMXW Bar Nunn/Casper WY to Classic Country “92.5 Hank-FM“.
Positioning as “Wyoming’s Real Country”, the new brand creates a direct format competitor to Townsquare Media’s “The Cowboy” 1400 KKTL/101.9 K270CT. The market also has two current based Country outlets in Townsquare’s “My Country 95.5” KWYY and Mount Rushmore Broadcasting’s 103.7 KQLT.
The move takes KMXW out of direct competition with Townsquare’s “104.7 Kiss-FM” KTRS-FM.
