A pair of Cumulus Media Classic Rockers are adding Radio Resources’ “Woody & Wilcox Show” following the end of “The Big Show with John Boy & Billy”.
Based at iHeartMedia Alternative “106.5 The End” WEND Charlotte and featuring Greg ‘Woody’ Wood and Chris Wilcox along with Chelsea Hamel, the show had debuted on Cumulus’ 101.5 WQUT Johnson City TN and “99.9 The Fox” WSMS Artesia/Columbus MS.
Wilcox commented about WQUT, “I had a new year’s resolution to work for a guy named ‘Buzz’ and that happened within the first week of 2026 thanks to Buzz Casey in the Tri-Cities. Bonus: Buzz is awesome!” Regarding WSMS, Wood added, “Huge thanks to Chris Stryker! Wilcox and I believe that ‘The Sip’ is the greatest state nickname in the country and we’re excited to be rocking The Sip from North Mississippi’s Rock Station 99.9 The Fox!”
