Cumulus Media has moved its six station Topeka KS cluster sixty miles east into its Kansas City facility.
WIBW-TV reports that Cumulus consolidated the operations and management of its six Topeka stations into Kansas City with no programming changes. Cumulus told the station that its local partnerships were “vital” and they remain a top priority for its Topeka team.
Cumulus operates Classic Hits “Eagle 99.3” KWIC, Classic Rock “V100” KDVV, “Cat Country 102.9” KTOP-FM, AC “Majic 107.7” KMAJ-FM, Conservative Talk “The Big Talker” 1440 KMAJ/93.5 K228FM, and Sports 1440 KTOP in Topeka.
The move out of Topeka explains the exit of cluster Operations Manager Amber Lee last month.
