After 33 years in mornings in Denver, Dom Testa has exited as morning host at KSE Media Classic Hits “Kool 105” KXKL.
Testa moved to mornings at KXKL in October 2024 after spending 32 years at 100.3 as it shifted from AC “Majic 100” KMJI through its flip to 1970s Hits “Kim 100” KIMN and gradual evolution to Hot AC “Mix 100” in the 1990s. He began his career at KFMN Abilene TX before arriving in Denver in 1986 and spent six years at “Y108” KRXY.
SVP/General Manger Joel Clary said, “We are deeply grateful for Dom Testa’s contributions and the energy he brought to our airwaves. Throughout his tenure, Dom has been a true professional, a trusted partner, and an integral part of our success. His dedication, expertise, and passion for connecting with audiences have left an indelible mark on our team and the community. Dom has been a tremendous resource and colleague, and we wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors.”
The station says Testa’s exit comes as the station “intensifies its commitment to delivering dynamic, locally focused content for its listeners and partners” as Testa had been broadcasting remotely from his home in Georgia the past few years.
Clary continued, “This change reflects KSE Radio’s strategic direction to strengthen local engagement and maximize opportunities with our valued media partners and advertisers,” Clary said. “By focusing on talent with deep local roots, we aim to deliver even more relevant and impactful content to our listeners.”
Co-host Melissa Moore remains in mornings.
