RCS Worldwide President/CEO Philippe Generali will retire from the company at the end of February.
Generali has been with RCS since 1996 rising from Product Manager to President in 2000 and President/CEO in 2006. During his time at the helm of RCS, the company expanded from radio software tools such as NexGen and Selector (and later Zetta) to launch Media Monitors, acquire television automation Florical Systems, and fold in Mediabase.
Katz Media CEO Mark Gray, who oversees RCS as well for parent company iHeartMedia, will add full leadership of RCS. Generali will serve as a senior consultant for the next year, while a search for a new RCS CEO is conducted.
Gray commented, “Philippe has been an extraordinary visionary and leader in shaping RCS into the global powerhouse it is today. We are grateful for his decades of dedication and are excited to build on the strong foundation and talented leadership team that he leaves behind.”
Generali said, “It’s been a phenomenal ride—working with incredible people and building something that truly changed the industry. I’m proud of the bold steps we’ve taken together and the lasting impact we’ve made. Every moment has been meaningful, and now I’m eager to discover new places, new ideas, and experiences with the same curiosity and joie de vivre that have guided me throughout this journey.”
