Ahead of its flip to Sports “104.3 The Score” WSCR-FM simulcasting 670 WSCR on Monday, Audacy ended programming on Rhythmic Throwbacks “104.3 Jams” WBMX Chicago this morning and has begun simulcasting “B96” WBBM-FM on the frequency.
The simulcast began at 6am this morning to promote WBBM-FM to WBMX listeners over the weekend leading into the launch of WSCR-FM on Monday morning. The simulcast follows WBMX afternoon host Sonic moving to the same timeslot on B96 as well.
The final song as Jams was Blackstreet “No Diggity” just before 6am.

Also of note, Sonic hosted an hour-long goodbye show for the Jams format yesterday, playing an hour of departure-themed songs for his last shows (including replaying the launch of the format, right down to playing “Hypnotize”) before ending it at 7 pm with Boyz II Men, “End of the Road”.
