SummitMedia Hot AC “103.7 Your Variety” WURV Richmond VA has flipped to CHR “Hot 103.7“.
Positioning as “All The Hits”, the new format creates an in-market format competitor to Audacy’s “Q94” WRVQ for the first time since 2017. It also resurrects the “Hot” branding utilized in the market by Summit’s last attempt at CHR “Hot 100.9” WHTI from 2010 until 2014 followed by three years as “Hot 106.1” W291CL/WURV-HD2 until flipping to Sports in June 2017.
With the flip, WURV has dropped “Murphy, Saw and Jodi” in mornings in favor of the KBKS Seattle based “The Jubal Show”. The station continues to run jockless the remainder of the day.
WURV was fourteenth in the Richmond market down 1.8 to 1.6 in the December 2025 Nielsen Audio ratings. WRVQ rose 3.7 to 4.2 to rank ninth in the market.
