Murfin Media has flipped multiple stations across its portfolio to Classic Rock “The Rock of Kansas”
The brand has replaced Rock “97.7 The Dawg” KSNP Burlington, CHR “Hot 105.5” KKOY-FM Chanute, “Thunder Country 107.9” 1340 KSEK/K300DE Pittsburg, and “The Bluegrass Express” 1550 KKLE Winfield. The logo also indicates it will likely be replacing Hot AC “94.9 MyFM” on KIND-FM Elk City/Independence.
The stations will all feature the same on-air lineup with the KEZO Omaha based “Todd N Tyler Radio Empire” in mornings. Former “98.9 The Rock” KQRC Kansas City morning co-host Nycki Pace will anchor middays from 9am to 2pm. Mark Good, previously of KRZZ and KFXJ Wichita, will host afternoons. “Classic Hits 92.7” KWME Wichita midday host Cindy Lea will add nights on the network.
