Curtis Media’s WZTK Burlington NC will debut a new format following the shutdown of “FM Talk 101.1” on March 13.
On Tuesday, April 3, the station will begin simulcasting sister Regional Mexican “La Ley 96.9” WYMY Goldsboro. The two stations had previously simulcast as “Kix Country” from 1998 to 2001. 96.9 covers the eastern part of the Raleigh/Durham market, while 101.1 serves the Durham side of the market and the Greensboro/Winston-Salem market.
101.1 has been temporarily simulcasting sister CHR “Pulse 102” 102.3 WWPL/102.5 WPLW.
