Service Broadcasting has sold Urban Oldies “Soul 730” KKDA Grand Prarie/Dallas to SKR Partners for $1.9 Million.

SKR, run by Kimberly Roberts and Scott Kim, has no other broadcast properties has begun operating the station on January 1 under a Time Brokerage Agreement. The station is now featuring Korean programming.

KKDA had carried an R&B format since 1970. Much of its airstaff was let go in May 2012 due to budget cuts. The sale brings an end to Willis Johnson’s morning show. A message on the station’s website states,

Soul 730 KKDA is no longer broadcasting on the radio.
The frequency has been sold to another company.
