As we reported earlier this week, Clear Channel Rhythmic CHR “Hot 98.3” KOHT Tucson will be picking up “The Breakfast Club” from “Power 105.1” WWPR-FM New York for mornings beginning Monday, August 26.
KOHT will not be alone as the program is also adding affiliates in Milwaukee, Norfolk and Birmingham. The program began airing this week on “V100” 100.7 WKKV Milwaukee in place of Steve Harvey. It’ll debut on the 26th on “104.1 The Beat” W281AB Birmingham and “103 Jamz” WOWI Norfolk.
“The Breakfast Club” features DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. The rollout coincides with Charlamagne hosting a late-night talk show this week on MTV as a test for a potential series.
Clear Channel’s Premiere Radio Networks began syndicating a weekend countdown version of the show earlier this year.
