SiriusXM Adjusting Lineup: Z100/KIIS-FM Come To Sirius

SiriusXM Clear Channel Piolin Z100 KIIS-FM WLTW WGCI WSIX Kidz Bop Sixx SenseSiriusXM will make some adjustments to its channel lineup on Friday, October 18.

Most of the changes are related to the XM channels programmed by Clear Channel dating back to the launch of the service in 2001. Nine of the eleven Clear Channel produced channels will depart the service: WLTW New York (Ch. 13), WSIX Nashville (Ch. 57), WGCI Chicago (Ch. 241), Sixx Sense (Ch. 242), Extreme Talk (Ch. 243), America’s Talk (Ch. 244), Reach MD (Ch. 245), Talk Radio (Ch. 246), and Fox Sports Radio (Ch. 247). For the channels that were not already available on IHeartRadio such as ReachMD and Extreme Talk, Clear Channel has added those channels to its streaming service.

The other two of the CC programmed channels, simulcasts of CHR’s WHTZ New York (Ch. 11) and KIIS-FM Los Angeles (Ch. 12) will be made available on Sirius receivers as well as SiriusXM Online.

The other major change will be the launch of SiriusXM’s new premium Latino package headlined by the launch of Eddie ‘Piolin’ Sotelo’s “Piolin Radio” on Channel 147. The $5.99 a month package will be free to all subscribers until February 15, 2014. The package will also see Sirius exclusive channels La Mezcla (Ch. 148), Águila (Ch. 151), and RadioFórmula México (Ch. 156) added to XM receivers.
