Months after moving to 100.1, Alpha Media Hot AC “Y100” WXYY Rincon/Savannah, GA has segued to CHR under new PD Rob Walker.

The move places the station in direct competition with iHeartMedia’s “97.3 Kiss-FM” WAEV. The entire airstaff at WXYY has turned over since the move to 100.1. The move to CHR sees the station dropping the syndicated Bert Show in mornings. Mia Amini joined the station in June to replace the voicetracked Patty Steele in middays and Walker replaced previous Program Director Tony Bristol in afternoons in September.
