Liberty University has converted its regional Christian Preaching/AC “Victory FM” network to all music as “The Journey 88.3“.
Based at Liberty’s 88.3 WRVL Lynchburg, VA, the network is also heard on eight full powered FM’s and seventeen translators across Virginia and North Carolina. The station explains as it provides a list of former Victory programs to listen online, “To better reach today’s families we have created a new name, The Journey, and a format that features more music, real-life stories of hope and transformation plus other unique content to draw people closer to Christ.”
As part of the transition, Liberty University men’s basketball will move from WRVL and “Victory FM” to a new network consisting of 105.9 WLNI Lynchburg and 960/107.3 WFIR Roanoke.
