Saga Communications has flipped 1350 KRNT Des Moines to Sports “ESPN Des Moines“.
KRNT will air the national ESPN Radio programming lineup along with Chicago Cubs baseball, Green Bay Packers football, Iowa Energy basketball, and Drake University sports. ESPN Radio programming has been lacking from the Des Moines market since Cumulus switched “1700 The Champ” KBGG to CBS Sports Radio when that network launched in January 2013.
KRNT’s previous Adult Standards format will shift to 104.5 K283CC/KAZR-HD2 as “104.5 KRNT“. K283CC had been carrying the programming of Christian Preaching “Praise 940” KPSZ. 940 will also pickup Chicago Bears football.
