Following the move of Business 1570 KYCR to 1440 last month, Salem will launch “Wellness Radio 1570” KDIZ Golden Valley/Minneapolis on Monday, January 11.

While Salem is promoting the new Health & Wellness format as the first of its kind, a previous attempt was made in the late 1990’s by 1390 WZHF Washington DC. Programming will include Dr. Asa On Call from 12-3pm as well as Doctor’s Choice Coffee, River Ahava Wellness, Like It Matters, LLC and Healthline Live with Dr. Bob Marshall.

Salem Media Group Twin Cities will launch the first-of-its-kind format on Monday, January 11th at 7am with the introduction of Wellness Radio 1570 KDIZ AM in the Twin Cities. The station is the first of its kind to dedicate its entire format to health and wellness programming. Wellness Radio 1570 will also be streamed online at TwinCitiesWellnessRadio.com along with iHeartRadio, TuneIn and its free mobile app.
