Curtis Media has applied to change call letters on WXNR to WMJV effective Friday, September 30. New domains have been registered for 995TheWave.com , TheWave995.com , Wave995.com , and 995and975TheWave.com . Our expectation would be on an AC or Soft AC direction for the station to fill the hole in market created by sister " V103.3 " WMGV's shift towards Hot AC the past few years as well as Inner Banks Media Classic Hits 107.9 WNCT-FM adding a minimal amount of currents. A move away from Top 40 would leave Dick Broadcasting's " Bob 93.3 " WERO-FM alone in the format. Latino Communications may have found a new operator for 1480 KAVA/107.5 K298CG Pueblo CO. Registrations have been made for Kix1075.com and MyKix1075.com with a Facebook page promoting "a local Pueblo country station is COMING SOON to your radio!" The station, which currently simulcasts Regional Mexican " Que Bueno 1280 " KBNO Denver, will appear to be led by longtime market voice Dave Moore in mornings. Moore previously owned and programmed " KIQ'N Country " KIQN on multiple frequencies after long stints at Country KCCY Pueblo and KCCS Colorado Springs. With new WDJZ call letters now in place on Glenn Cherry's Silent 1590 WPUL South Daytona FL, it and its translator 100.7 W264DP Daytona Beach should soon return with a Jazz format on the former Jazz outlet. 1007WDJZ.com and WDJZ1007.com have been registered for the station, which were briefly live promoting the station as "Daytona's Jazz Station".
