Plus another change coming to Atlantic City/Cape May and something different coming in Rochester. Following the addition of a full-power FM simulcast for Public News/Talk 1370 WXXI Rochester on 105.9 WXXI-FM, WXXI Public Broadcasting Council is turning its attention to relaunching AAA " Different Radio " 88.5 WRUR Rochester. Owned by the University of Rochester, WRUR features a mix of programming from 1370 WXXI including NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered and the station's local Connections midday show with AAA music in other dayparts. With the need for the talk shows being aired on FM being eliminated by the launch of WXXI-FM, the station will relaunch on Monday, July 31 with a new musical emphasis. With that will come a new brand as the station is promoting "Something En Route" for "a new musical journey starting July 31". That will be a relaunch of the station and simulcaster 90.1 WITH Ithaca as " The Route ". TheRoute.org was registered in January and is now redirecting to a splash page for WRUR and WITH. Regional Media will relaunch Alternative 106.3 WJSE North Cape May NJ as " Planet 106.3 " on Monday. WJSE's site has already been moved to the new domain with Dave Levora, PD/morning host of co-owned " Planet 93.9 " KQCJ Cambridge IL teasing the launch . With 97.5 K248BZ Kimberly/99.1 KXTA-HD3 Gooding stunting with all-Bad Bunny, it appears the station will move to a Spanish CHR format as " Mega 97.5 ". Mega975.com was registered earlier this month, while the station's Facebook page states the brand will carry Entravision's Shoboy Show in mornings and Tino Cochino Radio in afternoons. [/membership]
