Lubbock Public Media will acquire the license of KRBL with Ramar Communications and FLP Ramar, Ltd. acquiring the commercial and real estate assets in a combined $425,000 deal . That will see Lubbock Public Media convert the station to non-commercial operation and seemingly flip the station to Classical with the organization registering Classical1057.org and 1057KLSO.org . The format and brand of " The Red Dirt Rebel " will apparently remain moving to what is now Ramar Hot AC " 107.7 Yes-FM " KLZK-FM Idalou as Ramar has reserved 1077RedDirtRadio.com , 1077RedDirtRebel.com , and 1077TheRedDirtRebel.com . " Yes-FM " will then move to 93.1 K226CH Lubbock/KTTU-HD4 replacing Ramar's own Red Dirt Country " 93.1 Texas-FM " as the company registered 931YesFM.com . Seven Mountains Media continues to plan revamps in each of the markets in acquired from Forever Media last year. After changes over the course of this year in Altoona, Johnstown, and State College, next up appears to be the stations in the northwestern corner of the state. Facebook page changes have given away the company's plans there. What is now Classic Hits " WUZZ Radio " 1280 WUZZ/97.5 W248DJ New Castle will flip to a simulcast of Classic Country " Wille 95.1 " WYLE Grove City as its page has been renamed " My Willie Radio 95.1 & 97.5 ". The WUZZ brand does not appear to be going away though as a new " WUZZ Radio " page promoting "The Greatest Hits That Ever Wuzz" is described as coming soon and listing four FM frequencies. Those align with the translators for each of the company's Talk brands in the region and align with the company removing all of its spoken word programming in its other markets. Likely becoming WUZZ are 1200 WKST /97.9 W250CW New Castle and the " Allegheny News Talk Sports Network " of 1230 WTIV/105.3 W287DC Titusville, 1450 WFRA/98.1 W251CL Frankklin, and 1490 WMGW/100.7 W264DK Meadville. Meanwhile over in Clarion, Classic Country " 94.1 The Goat " 1300 WWCH/W231DR looks to be taking the company's " Bigfoot Legends " brand in simulcast with 101.3 WKFT Strattanville based on its new social media page . WKFT currently simulcasts " Bigfoot Country " 102.1 WIFT DuBois. [/membership]
