Now domains hint at potential moves in Orlando. In June, we reported on the registration of Retro979.com for for use at the Orlando market 810 WRSO Orlovista/97.9 W250CE Kissimmee. WRSO had flipped from Spanish News/Talk “ Acción ” to Fox Sports Radio in February despite much of the lineup being duplicated on sister “ 96.9 The Game ” 740 WYGM/W245CL. Now the company may be looking bigger than the AM and limited translatorfor its Bilingual Classic Hits brand. Just like it did in Tampa with region specific domains , iHeart has reserved a series of domains for possible brand moves in Central Florida with the company reserving RealRadioOrlando.com (currently 104.1 WTKS-FM), RetroOrlando.com (not yet in market), RumbaOrlando.com (currently 100.3 WRUM), TheBeatOrlando.com (currently 104.5 W283AN/WTKS-HD2), TheGameOrlando.com (currently 740 WYGM/96.9 W245CL), and WJRROrlando.com (currently 101.1) for possible moves. With the Hip Hop " Beat " translator currently having the format to itself and outranking multiple full-powered signals in the market, we would not be surprised to see it upgraded to a full-powered signal to prevent a competitor from flipping one of its stations. The anonymous registration of 947TheBeast.com has been transferred to Midwest Communications' servers pointing its likely usage to 94.7 WOZZ Mosinee/Wausau WI. WOZZ is currently Variety Hits " 94.7 Jack-FM " and simulcast on 102.9 W275AC Wausau. The station flipped from Rock to Variety Hits in September 2021 . Maritime Broadcasting Systems has registered a few more domains for its upcoming acquisitions from Bell Media. Maritime registered CatCountry935.com for what is now Variety Hits “ Bounce Radio 93.5 ” CIKX-FM Grand Falls NB and CatCountry995.com for “ Pure Country 99.5 ” CKTY-FM Truro NS. [/membership]
