Update 11/1: KSGX made the flip to “The Brew 104.9” at 12am. However, unlike all of Clear Channel’s other Brew branded stations, this one is leaning towards Active Rock. That move pretty much returns the station to the format the station ran as “The Funky Monkey” from 1999 until November 2010 when the station switched to its now defunct “Gen X” format.
Original Report 10/28: Clear Channel’s 80s/90s Hits “Gen X 104.9” KSGX Seattle is now stunting with Halloween Music and Horror Movie clips as “Freddy 104.9“.
On November 1, the station will flip to Classic Rock as “104.9 The Brew“. The station is already teasing the new format with the following video on their website.
TheBrew1049.com, Brew1049.com, and Freddy1049.com were all registered earlier this week.
