On September 1, Blueberry Broadcasting will change programming on a pair of its properties in Bangor, ME.
Country “104.7 The Bear” WBFB Belfast will move to the 97.1 slot currently held by Sports WAEI-FM Bangor. The Bear country format will continue to be heard on its simulcast partners 99.1 WLKE Bar Harbor and 103.3 WMCM Rockland/Augusta.
No word on what will head to 104.7. “Fox Sports 97.1” WAEI-FM was recently replaced as co-flagship of University of Maine Hockey by sister CHR “Kiss 94.5” WKSQ. Regardless, WAEI-FM’s programming will remain on 910 WAEI.
