Great Scott Broadcasting is exiting the radio industry with a pair of divestitures of its Salisbury/Ocean City, MD stations.
Adams Radio has agreed to acquire two AMs, four FMs, and two translators. The stations involved are Rock “93.5 The Beach” WZBH Georgetown DE, Classic Rock “Big 98.5” WGBG Seaford DE, Rhythmic CHR “OC 104” 103.9 WOCQ Berlin MD, “Hot Country 107.7” WKHI Fruitland MD, Brokered Spanish CHR “Maxima 900” WJWL Georgetown DE, Variety Hits “Sue 1280” WJWK Seaford DE, and translator CPs 96.3 W242AV Seaford DE and 100.3 W262BF Georgetown DE.
The remainder of the Great Scott stations: Hot AC simulcast “B95.3/101.7” 95.3 WKDB Laurel DE/101.7 WZEB Ocean View DE, WGBG simulcast 103.5 WJKI Bethany Beach DE, and WJWL simulcast 106.1 WXSH Pocomoke City MD will go to The Voice Radio Network.

This is the fourth market for Adams Radio Group since reentering the radio business last July. Adams owns and operates clusters in Las Cruces, NM, Fort Wayne, IN and suburban Chicago area in Northwest Indiana referred to as “The Region.”
