Station Sales
American General Media and Hutton Broadcasting are swapping signals in the Santa Fe, NM market. Hutton will send Spanish Adult Hits “Juan 102.9” KLBU Pecos to AGM for “Radio Lobo” 94.7 KKIM-FM Santa Fe, which currently simulcasts 97.7 KLVO Belen/Albuquerque. The deal gives Hutton a much more powerful signal in Santa Fe as 94.7 KKIM-FM is a 100kW Class C1, however the deal may also help American General Media in the adjacent Albuquerque market as the 3.7kW Class C3 signal of KLBU is on the same channel as AGM’s Albuquerque translator 102.9 K275AO. That signal currently rebroadcasts 840 KARS Belen, NM as Alternative “Area 102.9“. Owning KLBU should allow AGM flexibility in upgrading K275AO’s signal.
