Buck Owens Broadcasting will soon be debuting a new signal in the Bakersfield, CA market.
97.3 KRJK Lamont, CA will soon sign-on as a Class A targeting Bakersfield from southeast of the market. With the registration of 973JackFM.com in late August and the assignment of the KRJK calls this week all signs point to the station debuting as Variety Hits.
The format had been tried on American General Media’s 93.1 KKXX as “Pirate Radio” from 2005 to 2009. Buck Owens Broadcasting also operates Country 550/107.9 KUZZ and Classic Country “Real Country 107.1” KCWR in the Bakersfield market.
