Eleven months after CHR “Breeze-FM” 95.3 KFRO-FM Gilmer/102.3 KLJT Jacksonville went dark in an ownership dispute between siblings Bill & Susie Waller, the stations have returned to their air as CHR “Fun 95.3/102.3“.
The stations are being operated by Paul Coates and Mike Huckabee’s East Texas Results Group, which filed to purchase the stations and former Regional Mexican “Kompa-FM” 94.3 KZXM Bullard/103.1 KMPA Pittsburg TX from the estate of Dudley Waller’s Waller Media in May for $1.2 million. KZXM and KMPA are still Silent, but are scheduled to return to the air with KMPA relaunching its Regional Mexican format while KZXM will become Country “94.3 The Bull“. Bill Waller, the former President of Waller Media, has filed a Petition To Deny and a civil lawsuit contesting the sale, following what he claims is his sister’s unlawful takeover of the company and terminating he and the full staff of the company last August.
‘Jammin’ Jimmy Olson, former Operations Manager of Waller Media from 2009-2014 and morning host at KFRO-FM/KLJT, has joined East Texas Results Group as Vice President/General Manager.
