Following Mike Salk’s recent promotion to Director of Programming for Bonneville Seattle, he and Brock Huard are ending their daily morning show on “710 ESPN” KIRO Seattle and launching a weekly podcast.
Huard and Salk hosted middays at KIRO from its 2009 launch to 2013 when Salk exited for WEEI Boston. Upon his return in July 2014 they moved to 7-10am and were briefly syndicated to stations across the northwest. The final morning show the pair will host will air on Friday, September 27, with the podcast debuting on October 2.
In addition to Salk’s promotion, Huard joined Fox this month to serve as their #2 college football game analyst after twelve years at ESPN.
KIRO has yet to announce its plans for the morning slot.
