After 36 hours of stunting with all Britney Spears, iHeartMedia has completed the revamp of CHR “95.7 The Party” as “Hits 95.7“.
Taking shots at Audacy Hot AC “Alice 105.9” and Rhythmic CHR “KS 107.5” in its launch package, the station is promoting a broader playlist of pop hits than either. The station will debut a new on-air lineup with a morning show to be announced in the future. Chelsea Thomas remains in middays. KHTS-FM San Diego morning host Frankie V replaces KHKS Dallas’ Raven in afternoons, WHYI Miami’s Drew supplants KSME Fort Collins’ Big Rob in evenings. The station will also feature commercial free weekends.
The new “Hits 95.7” debuted at noon with Olivia Rodrigo’s “Good 4 You”, Saweetie ft. Doja Cat “Best Friend”, Ed Sheeran “Bad Habits”, Dua Lipa “Levitating”, and Ariana Grande “Positions”.
iHeartMedia Denver announced today the debut of the new HITS 95.7, The Home of Commercial Free Weekends, effective immediately.

“The launch of HITS 95.7 marks the dawn of a new era in Denver radio,” said JoJo Turnbeaugh, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s Denver Region. “Our passion for hit music — including non-stop, uninterrupted music on the weekends— along with top-notch personalities will propel HITS 95.7 to new heights in the Mile High City.”

Original Report 7/14: iHeartMedia CHR “95.7 The Party” KPTT Denver has entered stunt mode as “Free Britney Radio“.
The station started playing nothing but Spears’ music at midnight coinciding with the next hearing in her legal battle over her conservatorship this afternoon. The stunt follows the dismissal of KPTT morning hosts Deuce, Nina Blanco, and Dubz earlier this month.
It is expected a rebranded CHR presentation will follow. The “95.7 The Party” brand debuted as a Rhythmic AC in 2006. The station shifted to Rhythmic CHR in 2009 and then Mainstream CHR in 2015.
