Former Cumulus Detroit Director of FM Programming Robby Bridges is joining Townsquare Media as Operations Manager for its Portsmouth NH cluster effective February 7. Bridges will serve as Program Director for Country 97.5 WOKQ Portsmouth and “103.7 The Peak” WPKQ North Conway while co-hosting afternoons on Classic Hits “The Shark” 102.1 WSAK Hampton/105.3 WSHK Kittery ME.
iHeartMedia’s “Kiss Country 99.9” WKSF Asheville NC morning host Eddie Foxx is now pulling double duty as he adds afternoons at “B93.9” WNCB Cary/Raleigh. Foxx supplants Scotty Davis who was tracking the daypart from his base at “US 103.5” WFUS Tampa.
Lisa Leonard has exited as midday host of Townsquare Media AC 92.7 WOBM-FM Toms River NJ after 22 years with the station. In a blog post on the station’s site, Leonard explains she wishes to focus on her voiceover business and restoring her health after a previous bout with Lyme Disease.
Also exiting the Townsquare Monmouth/Ocean cluster is longtime morning co-host Marianne Levy at Oldies “Beach Radio” 1160 WOBM Lakewood Township/1310 WADB Asbury Park. Levy joined WOBM in 1997 to join her husband Bob on the station’s morning show. Following Bob Levy’s retirement in December 2015 she moved to a talk show alongside Joel Markel from 8-10am.
Andi Brooks has departed Midwest Family Broadcasting Country “Q106” 106.3 WWQM Madison WI to join Big Machine Label Group based in Nashville. Brooks served as morning co-host alongside Jackson Jones and afternoon host since joining WWQM in July 2016 from Neuhoff Media’s 104.5 WFMB-FM Springfield IL.
Midwest Communications CHR “i106.7” WNFN Franklin/Nashville TN will add Hanna Bee for middays starting January 22. Bee joins WNFN from Entercom’s “Live 101.5” KALV Phoenix where she worked as a weekend/fill-in host.
Beasley Media has created the new position of Chief Digital Content Officer and appointed Lori Burgess to fill the position.
Burgess has been consulting Beasley’s integrated marketing strategy since May 2017. In her new role she will design and oversee the company’s digital content strategy. Burgess spent over two decades in the magazine industry including times as the Publisher of The Hollywood Reporter, Seventeen, Elle, Mademoiselle, OK, and Prevention.
