After over 25 years with Cumulus Sports “1310 The Ticket” KTCK Dallas/96.7 KTCK-FM Flower Mound TX, Mike Rhyner has announced his retirement from the station.
Rhyner was co-founder of the station in 1994 and has co-hosted “The Hardline” in afternoons since 1995. Prior to the launch of KTCK, Rhyner was part of the morning show at 97.9 KZEW and worked at 820 WBAP.
In a video he released online just as his afternoon show would be set to begin, Rhyner stated that it was his decision and that nobody at Cumulus management knew the announcement was coming.
