Dimes Media is expanding its holdings in Central California with the purchase of Hot AC “KC 102” 102.1 KRKC-FM/106.9 K295BZ King City and Country “KRKC Country” 1490 KRKC/104.9 K285FW King City and the CPs for 93.5 K228FT King City, which covers the area north of San Luis Obispo, from King City Communications Corporation for $150,000. Dimes Media owns five stations and three translators in the San Luis Obispo market.
A Louisiana court has ordered the transfer of 97.3 KJMG Bastrop/Monroe LA from Calvin Murray’s KP Music Group to a keepership held by William Whitley. KP Music Group purchased KJMG from Robert Holladay’s Holladay Broadcasting of Louisiana in 2011 but according to a recent lawsuit stopped making its monthly payments for the purchase in 2015. The station had been operating as Adult R&B “Majic 97” until going Silent in November.
Pastor P. Roberto J. Cortes-Campos’s Renovacion Media Group will acquire Spanish Christian 1540 WACA Wheaton MD/Washington DC from AC Acquisition for $700,000. Renovacion Media Group has operated WACA via Time Brokerage Agreement since January 2019.
Denny and Marge Hazen Ministries sells “Faith Ministry Radio” 90.1 WJEE Bolivar OH to Soaring Eagle Promotions for $50,000. The buyer operates Christian AC “Shine-FM” across Ohio.
Sair Communications sells Spanish Christian 101.5 KOCD Okeene OK to Highway 64 Radio for $120,000.
