[membership level="2,3"] With Stingray Hip Hop " Flow 93.5 " CFXJ-FM Toronto set to complete its move to 98.7 CKFG-FM on Monday, a new format will launch on the 93.5 facility. A domain registration made in 2020 may hold the key to what will debut in Toronto. In December 2020, anonymous registrations were made for 935TodayRadio.com , 935TodayRadio.ca , and 935Today.com . The first of those domains has gone live on the SoCast platform utilized by all of Stingray's properties. Additionally, social media accounts for @935TodayRadio have been in place since last summer (with the Twitter account claiming it is for use in Jackson MS). However, the Instagram account gained its first follower on Wednesday evening from a Stingray Toronto employee. The " Today Radio " trademark is owned by Vancouver based Momentum Media Marketing and is utilized by Pattison Media Hot AC " 101.5 Today Radio " CKCE-FM Calgary. Such a format on CFXJ would place the station between Rogers AC 98.1 CHFI and Bell Media Hot AC 104.5 CHUM-FM . CHFI currently ranks fifth in the Toronto market with a 7.8 share in the Fall 2021 Numeris Ratings , while CHUM is sixth with a 7.4. The new format would create a flanker to protect Stingray Classic Hits " Boom 97.3 " CHBM-FM against those two in demo. Boom is currently second in the Toronto market with a 10.5 share.
