NRG Media Country “Froggy 98” KFGE Lincoln NE is seeking a new APD/MD/midday host as Kyle Matthews is heading to Townsquare Media’s “104.3 Wow Country” KAWO Boise as Brand Manager.

Matthews was on his second stint at KFGE working there from 2016 to 2018 and then returning in February 2019. In between, he spent ten months as Imaging Director and midday host at Audacy’s “95.1 K-Frog” KFRG Riverside CA.

NRG Media Lincoln Operations Manager and KFGE Program Director Steve King writes, “With Kyle’s impending departure, we have an opening for an APD/PD for KFGE. The right person needs to have a passion for Country music, able to work with a VERY high profile morning show (Gary and Johanna) and understand how to integrate online and social media into a radio station. This isn’t a job for a beginner in radio, as we make big market radio,. This is a job for someone who wants to be a PD or work their way into the PD role, as APD. • Perform a daily airshift

• Work closely with a high-profile, high-performing, personality driven morning show.

• Work in tandem with the Promotions, Sales, Digital Manager and entire Programming staff. 

Desired skills and experience:  

• Knowledge and/or desire to learn NexGen, Adobe Audition and MusicMaster,
• Ability to prioritize and solve problems creatively
