Salem Media Group has announced a pair of promotions to fill the holes created by the retirement of Val Carolin at the end of January.

Carolin had served as Regional Vice President and General Manager based in Atlanta since August 2019 after spending two years leading Salem’s Greenville SC cluster. He also held Sales management roles at Radio One, Cumulus Media and Clear Channel Atlanta and CBS Radio in Atlanta and Chicago.

To fill his positions, Salem has promoted Jason Mosher from Regional Director of Sales to Regional General Manager overseeing the Atlanta and Pittsburgh markets. Mike Murphy, General Manager of Salem Minneapolis/St. Paul, rises to Regional GM adding oversight of Cleveland.
