The UK’s Podcast Radio Network has ceased US operations.
Launched in September 2023 as a partnership between the British company and the late Gary Krantz’ Krantz Media Group, Podcast Radio US debuted as 24/7 stations on Beasley Media Group stations in four markets. That had dropped to one as 1010 WJBR Tampa flipped to Sports in August 2025, 94.7 W234BY/103.7 WSOC-HD3 flipped to Spanish Tropical and 96.5 W243BM/101.5 W268AH/WXKB-HD2 Fort Myers FL was sold. The network continued to be heard 94.7 WCSX-HD2 Detroit until its recent flip to Beasley’s “NuTune Country”
The network would later fill certain dayparts on a few Alpha Media stations in Missouri and Minnesota and enter a distribution deal with Local Radio Networks. All growth ended when Krantz passed in January 2025.
