After exiting the company two months ago as part of iHeartMedia’s June cuts, Bob Delmont has returned in the dual role of evening host at Country 98.7 WMZQ Washington DC and his former midday slot at 93.1 WPOC Baltimore.

Delmont had spent 27 years at WPOC prior to his exit mostly in middays along with two years in afternoons. He also had tracked for multiple stations across the country including the majority of their Classic Country stations. Delmont also spent five years in nights at WDSY Pittsburgh and worked at Oldies turned Country WMTZ Johnstown PA.

Delmont commented, “I can’t tell you how excited I am to be working at the mighty 98.7 WMZQ on the shift where it all began for me. I get to come back working with the people that I know, and some I get to know better, all while still being part of WPOC on the same shift I’ve spent almost all of my career. Saying this is a gift is a huge understatement. Thank you to my boss Jeff Kapugi for making this all happen. I’m ready for y’all, D.C.!”
