On the fringe of the Catskill Mountains, Clear Channel has flipped originating stations for its pair of stations in Ellenville, NY.
“News Talk 99.3” WKIP-FM drops its simulcast of 1450 WKIP Poughkeepsie to return to Country via 107.3 WRWD-FM Highland. New WRWB-FM calls were applied for by Clear Channel on February 28.
Country had been heard on 1370 WRWD. That station assumes the talk simulcast from 99.3.
This returns both stations to their previous assignments. 1370 rebroadcasted 1450 WKIP from 2005 to 2009, while 99.3 carried WRWD-FM from 2006 to 2009.
