ESPN Deportes Enters Lehigh Valley

Fox 1470 WSAN ESPN Deportes Allentown Lehigh ValleyiHeartMedia has flipped Sports “Fox Sports 1470” WSAN Allentown PA to Spanish Sports “ESPN Deportes 1470“.

While the station will retain english language broadcasts of the Philadelphia Phillies all other programming will come from the Miami based network. The flip also provides the extra incentive for ESPN Deportes being able to count WSAN as a Philadelphia market clearance as Allentown is embedded in the Philadelphia television market which was one of two top 10 markets along with Washington DC where the network did not have an affiliate/

iHeartMedia announced today the debut of 1470 ESPN Deportes, an affiliate of ESPN Deportes, the national Spanish-language radio network, on May 26. 1470 ESPN Deportes’ programming will include the latest in national and local sports news and play-by-play coverage from Phillies and Eagles games.
