Midwest Family Broadcasting has closed on its acquisition of Hot AC “Mix 98.1” WISM-FM Altoon/Eau Claire WI from iHeartMedia’s Aloha Stations Trust and donation of 99.9 WDRK Cornell to University Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation.
The Classic Hits “Greatest Hits 99.9” programming moves to WISM-FM as “Greatest Hits 98.1” giving it a better signal in Eau Claire proper. UW-Eau Claire launched student-run “Blugold Radio” with some programming from Wisconsin Public Radio’s News & Classical Music network.
