Red Zebra Sports “ESPN 980” WTEM Washington/92.7 WWXT Prince Frederick, MD/94.3 WWXX Buckland, VA has named Dan Zampillo as its new Program Director.
Zampillo replaces Chuck Sapienza who exited the station during the odd drama surrounding the launch of the station’s new “Man Cave” morning show last month. He joins the station from SiriusXM where he was Executive Producer of Sports and Director of Programming of the company’s NBA and Bleacher Report channels. He previously programmed CBS “97.1 The Ticket” WXYT Detroit, Dispatch’s 1460 WBNS Columbus, and was APD of Tribune’s 720 WGN Chicago prior to joining SiriusXM in 2010.
