The LMA shuffle spins again at Reina Broadcasting’s 94.7 KBSO Corpus Christi.
Since 2013 the station has had three lessees as it flipped from Texas Country “Badlands FM” to Country “My 94.7” to Texas Country “94.7 The Rig” and finally in May to Alternative “94.7 The Shark” after Bogey Broadcasting temporarily lost control of its lease at 106.5 KYRK Taft. Bogey Broadcasting had been operating KBSO and sister 1150 KCCT Corpus Christi since January. The Texas Country “Rig Radio” continues on KYRK.
KBSO and KCCT are both currently running a mix of Americana, Classic Country and Texas Country as “Texas Radio AM Style” programmed by the ownership group. That programming had been heard on 1150 prior to Bogey taking over the station’s operations.
